Pre KG to KG2
Our Early Years Program welcomes children from 2 years and 9 months to 6 years, offering a carefully planned early childhood education progression from Pre-KG through KG2.
Each stage of our kindergarten curriculum builds on the previous one, ensuring children develop the confidence, independence, and foundational skills needed for a successful transition to Grade 1.

Early Years
Our Early Years classes are designed to provide every child with individual attention and personalized support. Pre-KG classes have a maximum of 20 children, while KG1 and KG2 classes have a maximum of 25 children, supporting small class sizes for optimal learning.
Every classroom is led by one qualified teacher and one dedicated teaching assistant.
Teachers carefully facilitate learning through purposeful questioning, working with children in small groups and one-to-one settings to provide the appropriate level of support and challenge that meets each child’s individual needs and promotes continuous progress.
Children learn best through play, exploration, and inquiry. Learning is organized around engaging themes that help children make meaningful connections across different areas of the curriculum, encouraging them to apply their knowledge and skills in real-life contexts. Our Early Years curriculum provides rich, hands-on experiences that develop communication skills, early literacy, numeracy skills, creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Early Years
One of the unique strengths of our Early Years Program is its bilingual education approach, giving children the opportunity to develop confidence and proficiency in both English and Arabic from an early age. Language learning is seamlessly integrated into daily routines and thematic units, enabling children to build strong communication skills naturally while fostering an appreciation for both languages and cultures.
Early Years
Our carefully designed indoor and outdoor learning spaces act as the “third teacher.”
These welcoming, stimulating environments inspire curiosity, independence, creativity, and collaboration. At AKIS children are encouraged to explore, make choices, and discover the world around them through purposeful play.
Children’s progress is monitored through continuous, observation-based assessment, allowing teachers to track development during everyday learning experiences and tailor teaching to individual needs.
Parents are kept informed through parent-teacher conferences, progress reports, and ongoing communication, ensuring a strong home-school partnership in supporting every child’s learning and development.
