Sports Days
Our annual Sports Days bring the whole school together, a highlight of the AKIS calendar built around teamwork, healthy competition, and school spirit. Events are structured for every phase and every ability, so all students can take part and experience success, with staff and parents cheering them on.
Year round
In-House Sports League
Our In-House Sports League keeps students active year-round, with structured competitions during breaks, lunchtimes, and after school in a safe, supervised environment.
Through football, basketball, volleyball, and other team sports, students build fitness, leadership, and sportsmanship; and standout talent is identified for a pathway into our varsity teams.

Competition
Varsity Sports Program
AKIS athletes compete in leading UAE sporting events, including the DASSA Championships, Dubai School Games, and AUS Sharakah Sports Day. Across football, basketball, volleyball, table tennis, badminton, swimming, and aquathlon, our varsity program builds confidence, resilience, and a lifelong love of sport; with every achievement celebrated across the school community.

Citywide
Dubai Fitness Challenge 30x30
Every year, AKIS joins the citywide Dubai Fitness Challenge, with students and staff completing 30 minutes of activity a day for 30 days, through fitness circuits, morning energizers, walking challenges, and class competitions.

Our annual Athlete Award Ceremony celebrates the achievements, commitment, and sportsmanship of AKIS student athletes across every sport, from individual performances to team success. It's a proud AKIS tradition that honors our students, coaches, and families, and inspires the next generation to get active and aim high.
